School :( and shopping :)
11 October 2010

The much dreaded school is gonna start tomorrow, new class, new people, again.

So i was already planning on what to wear for the week and stuff and i chanced upon the stuff my friend Nasri was selling, and i really liked a pair of topsiders he was selling. So i asked him to come over to my house to try it on. It was $110 though, mom wasn't very happy about it but i'm happy. A new pair of shoes to wear to school, i hope.

So once school starts, i hope to do better than last semester. Although i'm quite satisfied with the results i got for last semester, i could always do better. I never really ever wanted to have a job to do with the IT sector, but since i'm already here, why not give it my best shot right.

So now...am i looking forward to school?...uhm...if it's for the purpose of showing off the new bags and shoes i got during the holidays then yes.

I have also achieved something i've never achieved before, which was to finish reading Harry Potter!!! Although i was a little sad that there wasn't gonna be any continuation to the story...oh wells.

These past two months were the best months of my holiday life because i went shopping nearly everyday and bought new stuff for myself on every trip, so apparently i'm very happy now.

One day i saw these bags that i liked and i couldn't make up my mind as to which bag i liked better so i bought both! So i was double happy that night. But after that i've been having a phobia to look at bags in shops now because seriously, i have too many bag already. Maybe i should use them more, bring them to school perhaps. One bag per day hehe. So i have a Monday bag a Tuesday bag a Wednesday bag and a Thursday bag. No school on Fridays! Even when i go out with my mom, she pulls me in the arm away from the shop when she spots a bag shop. LOL.

Then i also bought 3 pairs of shoes in a single day while i went to Bugis to get my PP poster printed. Then a few weeks later i sit down wondering why i'm so broke and where all my money had gone -_-

Oh, and since Deepavali is nearing, i have an excuse to follow my mom out and buy stuff!

During the holidays i came up with a new habit of writing down whatever i spent my money on, that way i actually know what i'l done with my money. And it actually sorta helps you to save. Well it helps me.

So since i already got those blue shoes today i'll forget about getting myself a pair of pink high cut converse shoes. But i still want a pair of pink converse shoes so i will buy it next year.

So i hope i have a good 15 weeks of school before the next long holidays.

See you!

Superior race?
09 October 2010

The other day i was at this food court, and i ordered food, which was self-service. So after i ordered, the guy asked me to come back and collect my food after 5 mins. So after a 5mins wait, i went back to collect my food. I had to walk from my table, to the stall 15 meters away and walk back another 15 meters to consume my food.

While i was already divulging into my creamy mushroom soup and some toasted garlic bread, a Caucasian teen, about my age went to order at the same stall i ordered my food at. She came back to her seat with her sister/cousin, who was just sitting at the table in front of me. Apparently she was asked to wait for her food too.

But her food was delivered to her. By the same guy i placed my order from. Hmm....maybe i didn't look like the kind of person he would want to break the self-service rule to...hmm....i wondered...was it because...they were Caucasian?

From what i heard from my friend too, one day the MRT staff told off a group of Asian people drinking/eating the the station. And just right there were two Caucasian men enjoying some sandwiches. The MRT staff just nodded at them....hmm....maybe they were friends with the staff...

I have noticed with my own two eyes. When i'm in a store, and when there happens to be a western person in the store, they get better treatment. So we, as Asians are obliged to just accept that we aren't as important as the white race. Hmm...i'm not buying into that.

On a better note! I went out with Nuha and Atiqa yesterday and they took the awesomest pictures of me anyone has ever taken so here goes!!!

George Clooney is running after my hotness.

Is this better than the coloured one???

Hehe.

The three of us :)

Isn't it great when you like pictures of you taken voluntarily? They were the ones who actually asked me to pose for the camera! I didn't ask them to take pictures of me! Hehehehe i loved it!

Enthiran
03 October 2010

So i just came back after watching the latest Tamil movie, Enthiran. It's the first tamil movie that i would say is awesome. All other tamil movies i've watched haven't really impressed me, mostly due to their fighting scenes. They have the ability to become better then superman or hancock when they're fighting.
But Enthiran was friggin awesome! Although i didn't really get the humor in some parts because i don't understand the dialects, and by the time i finish reading the subtitles it's not funny anymore -_-

So in 3 days times I'll be having my Professional Profiling evaluation, where i have to print my poster out in an A1 sized paper and present to a panel of 3 judges. Nervous TTM! I hope i'll pull it off well. So i'll be heading down to NAFA in the morning tomorrow to print out the posters. Hope it doesn't burn a hole in my purse!

I also got some wonderful manicure and pedicure down. Very happy with them!!! My nails are red with silver glitter on the top and my toe nails are plain dark green. Wish i could go and have manicures and pedicures done every month!

Bye for now!
